Step It Up was one of the original pedometer apps on the App Store, originally launching in October 2013. It was a basic pedometer app with steps and distance tracking. Since then it has evolved into a health and fitness tracking app with many different health metric tracking and analytics.

In-Progress Features

Step It Up 3.0 was launched on April 23rd, 2025 with a brand new design and back-end code base. It was a lot of work to make Step It Up more modern after two years of very little work and an old, slow code base. Therefore, some features were removed to allow for the update to ship. Because, I believe even with some features missing Step It Up 3.0 is better than the last version. I plan to add many new features in future updates.
