Information we collect
We do not collect any data about you, the user. All of your health data is stored on your device and is never exported or shared without your permission.
The only time data is shared is if you share an activity using the App. This data is shared with whomever you choose and is not collected by Bean’s Bytes, LLC.
Technical basics
All notifications from Step It Up are considered “local notifications” which means no information is ever sent to your device. All notifications are generated by the application. This means there is no server with any kind of data about yours owned or operated by Bean's Bytes, LLC or Step It Up.
If you enable notifications, we will never use notifications for marketing.
Step It Up attempts to gain your Health information from your device. This is obtained via a prompt when you open Step It Up for the first time. Step It Up will never export any of this data without your explicit permission.
If you choose not to share your Health data with Step It Up, it will fall back to use the devices pedometer for steps and distance reporting. Again. Step It Up will never export any of this data without your explicit permission.
Step It Up uses your location to track the distance travelled while completing an outdoor activity. This data and the specific locations your travel to while completing an activity is stored in the app and sent to Health, if you enanabled permissions.
Accessing, changing, or deleting your information
You may access or change your information or delete your information from the Step It Up iOS app or the Health app.
Third-party Ads, links, and content
Step It Up displays ads from Google Ads if you do not purchase Step It Up premium. Step It Up is not liable for any information Google may collect. Step It Up does not share any data you share with the app with Google.
